Corgi dogs are a small breed of herding dog that originated in Wales. They are known for their short legs, long bodies, and fox-like faces. Corgi dogs come in two varieties: the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are the more popular of the two varieties, and they are the ones that are most commonly referred to simply as “corgis.”
